Population Projections

Population Projections For The UK

When planning sales, territory or network strategies that will yield returns in 5, 10 or 15 years time it is critical you have access to up-to-date information that reflects the future orientation of the market you are working with. Being able to understand the changing face of demographics enables marketers and network planners to understand how their markets will evolve so that strategies can be developed to take advantage of emerging opportunities.

In many cases fluctuations in population levels can have dramatic influences on the outcome of any strategy bearing in mind that any drop could signify the future reduction in overall consumer demand in an area and hence a potential loss in sales revenues.

We provide population projection data for the UK from a wide range of sources including ONS (England), GROS (Scotland), NISRA (Northern Ireland) and the Statistical Directorate of the National Assembly for Wales to enable you to incorporate ‘future now’ thinking into strategies you are developing today.

Long term projections can be supplied at Output Area (OA), Post Sector, Post District and Post Area levels at three 5 year intervals:

2013

2018

2023
